WordPress 3.0 is go for launch

WordPress 3.0 came out yesterday. Finally. I’ve been waiting for weeks.

I recommend everyone upgrades to WordPress 3.0.

Here’s a video in the new features. And remember there is over 1200 security and bug fixes, reason enough to upgrade.

If you like long lists check out the WordPress 3.0 features.

I’ve upgraded five or six websites to WordPress 3.0 including this site with only a few issues. If you are comfortable doing it yourself just make sure your plugins are all updated and you backup your entire website before doing the upgrade. I’ve seen a couple of issues with websites that has a lot of blog posts and had to a manual upgrade and an issue with an old theme not working so make sure you backup first.
